Teacher Notes
The purpose of this project is to heighten students’ understanding of how the stories of their encounters with racism, religious intolerance, and prejudice are invaluable experiences to be shared with others in order to promote a greater understanding of the refugee experience and global conflict. The hope is that students are able to see their worth and value in our society. Furthermore to promote a greater understanding of their roles and responsibilities in a democracy.
